Fountain Hill Park Proposal for Matthew and Mallory
Fountain Park in Fountain Hills, Arizona is one of the most iconic places in the Phoenix area for a proposal. With sweeping desert views, a peaceful lake, and the world-famous Fountain Hills fountain shooting water nearly 560 feet into the air, it creates an unforgettable setting for one of life’s biggest moments.
This weekend, I had the chance to capture a beautiful surprise proposal here.
I had just started my morning when I received an impromptu call to drive out to Fountain Hills to photograph a surprise proposal.
Matthew wanted to propose to Mallory at Fountain Park, one of the most scenic locations in the Valley. The weather was absolutely perfect that morning — blue skies, calm water, and the famous fountain rising in the background.
I quickly changed into the first thing I grabbed from my closet (my pink Country Thunder shirt), packed my camera gear, and headed out the door.
Moments like this are why I love being a proposal photographer in Arizona — every story is different, and every couple brings their own energy to the day.
Matthew walked Mallory around the lake path before stopping at the perfect viewpoint of the fountain.
With the water soaring behind them and the desert mountains in the distance, he got down on one knee and asked the question. Mallory of course, said yes! You know you picked a good one when he remembers the tissues. 💗
