practice what you want to say
Practice your proposal speech if it helps calm your nerves. Try to keep your posture upright but natural for the photos.
hide the ring
Make sure the ring is somewhere safe but accessible. Hide it in a jacket pocket vs. your pants if possible. A slim case or small pouch works great.
don’t rush the moment
When you are down on one knee, don’t rush the moment. Take it all in, pause on your knee before opening the ring box to build excitement.
